Helping Communities Work welcomes place-based funding and investing collaborations, which will focus on the creation of strategies designed to leverage more than 42.5 billion dollars in public funding, which is being allocated to help achieve digital equity, and the 2 billion dollars in Inflation Reduction Act funds intended to support environmental and climate justice. The strategies will support the deployment of fiber to the home and other high-capacity broadband solutions. Fiber initiatives are now advancing throughout the world under the leadership of the FTTH Council Global Alliance. https://www.ntia.gov/press-release/2023/biden-harris-administration-announces-state-allocations-4245-billion-high-speed
